Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
We are licensed and insured and bonded through PSA (Pet Sitters Associates, LLC).

Will I get to meet the sitter that will be caring for my pets?
Yes, at the consultation.

What times are mid-day walks or potty breaks?
10:00AM -  4:30PM (Monday - Friday)

What times are the pet sitting visits?
7:00AM - 9:00PM

How long are the visits?
The visits are between 15 or 30 minutes long.

Why is there a consultation?
The consultation is a FREE 30 minute visit that allows you to meet the pet sitter, give them two sets of keys. One to be retained by the pet sitter for future visits and one to be kept in our secured safe, in case of an emergency. We will also confirm pertinent information about you and your pet(s) (i.e. vet information, emergency contact, special requests, etc.)

What if I do not have an extra key copy at the consultation?
There is a $15.00 charge for each key pick-up and drop off occurence (after the initial consultation).

Is there an extra charge for administering medication?
There is a $5.00 charge for medicication that requires injections or oral administering. (There is no charge for medicine or supplements that is taken with food.)

How is payment accepted?
Payments are always due in full at the time of service. For monthly contracts, payments are due the first day of the month or the first day in the month, service will begin. Accepted payment methods are money orders and checks made payable to Alice and Lola's Pet Sitting Service.  Gratuities are never expected but always appreciated for exceptional service. 100% of the gratuities go to the pet sitter performing the service.

Are there extra costs for services performed on major holidays?
We  consider the following to be  major annual holidays: New Year's Eve, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and  Christmas Eve Day. There is a $20 surcharge plus the standard charge for the service being provided on these dates. This additional surcharge goes directly to your pet sitter as incentive to be available to care for your pets during these holidays.
