Alice and Lola's Pet Sitting Service (ALPS), which was established in November 2007, is a pet sitting service owned and operated by Nicole Browne. Her love of animals was the inspiration for pursuing her dreams of owning her own business while being around and caring for animals. Nicole has cared for many domestic animals to include dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, and fish.
ALPS offers midday dog walks, potty breaks, vacation visits, overnight stays, in home boarding and even house sitting for those who do not have pets. Nicole provides affordable, quality, reliable, loving care for your pets when you can't be there to care for them. For the business professional or for those who need pet care services when out of town, ALPS is only a phone call or email away. A few suggestions to keep in mind.
Plan Ahead
Make your pet sitting reservations as early as possible!
During the holidays and the summer it can be quite busy, so let Nicole know as soon as you can when you will be needing to make pet sitting arrangements. You can call Nicole's office at (703) 910-7352. Remember, to please buy extra food, litter, treats and supplies in case you are gone longer than anticipated. At the consultation I will provide you with a checklist prior to your departure for traveling.
Pet's Profile
Nicole will need to know what are his/her routines, special toys, hiding places and where there food is located. I will meet with you and your pet at the consultation and have you complete the service contract agreement form, pet information sheet telling me all about your pets, veterinarian release form, client/house information sheet, vacation/trip log and policies and procedures form. This contract will be kept on file for Nicole during future visits.
When you leave
In one general area, please leave your pets food, leash and any additional notes that you may have for Nicole. Please leave with Nicole the phone numbers of the places you'll be staying in case of emergencies. Nicole will already have the information about your pet's veterinarian and what to do in case of pet emergencies.
Returning
Earlier than expected: Please give Nicole a call to let her know you will be home and she will revise her schedule accordingly. You can call and leave her a voicemail no matter what time of day or night.
Later than expected
Nicole will need to arrange for additional visits for your pets. Please let her know as soon as possible that your trip will be extended. Again, please feel free to call her anytime of day or night so that she can revise her schedule.
